The UltraRangeTM K Series is a high performance sealed compression “F” connector, featuring a hex/diamond knurl nut. Its unique design aids the installation by increasing torque applied to the connector, particularly in situations where only finger tightening is allowed. This design allows the nut to spin freely yet seal out moisture when tightened. A free spinning nut makes installation faster and more reliable. This compression connector series combines ease of installation over a wide range of braid coverages with superior performance features. The one-piece design eliminates any loose parts. Connectorization can be performed rapidly and consistently without risking misalignment of multiple parts. UltraRange® 6 Plenum

The UltraRange® Plenum Series is a new generation of high performance compression “F” connectors, designed specifically for plenum cables. This compression connector series combines ease of installation over a wide range of cable braid coverages with superior performance features. Its design is particularly focused on easier installation of typically hard-jacketed plenum cables. This connector’s unique design features, including a threaded connector post, coupled with installation aids—such as the GF-TOOL-1/4-H used with a cordless screw driver—help to expedite the installation process. The UltraRange 6 Plenum connector design incorporates a free spinning nut, making installation faster and more reliable. The onepiece design eliminates any loose parts. Connectorization can be performed rapidly and consistently without the risk of misalignment of multiple parts. The UltraRange compression technology provides 360 degrees of contact to the cable, providing excellent RF shielding integrity.

UltraRange® 59 & 6 SR

Be assured. These “F” connectors are water tight!

The new UltraRange® SR series is the next advancement in weather resistant compression “F” connectors. The SR series connectors are shipped with a seal ring pre-installed over the connector nut. The seal ring is conveniently out of the way and doesn’t interfere with normal installation practices. This unique design allows visual inspection of the cable core and verification of the center conductor length to ensure proper installation.

When installing the connector to an “F” female port, the seal acts as a grip aid and doubles the tightening torque when finger tightening. After finger tightening the connector, the seal is slid forward over the female port, and the nut is fully tightened with a 7/16 wrench. If removing the connector, this sliding seal design (patent pending) allows the connector to be removed without damage to the seal or connector. Both are reusable when removed from the “F” female port.

UltraRange® 11

The UltraRange Series 11 “F” connector is the newest high performance, sealed compression connector from Corning Gilbert. Its design incorporates a 9/16” nut, making installation faster and more reliable. The connector’s unique compression design accommodates 60% through quad-shield braid coverage cables with a single connector, minimizing inventory. Connectorization is performed rapidly and consistently without the risk of misalignment of multiple parts.

Upon insertion of the cable, the connector pin extends to its full protrusion, providing a visible confirmation that the cable is properly inserted into the connector. This feature eliminates time and material waste. The connector center pin is retracted to protect it from the rigors of shipping and handling prior to installation.

The UltraRange compression technology provides 360 degrees of contact to the cable, providing excellent RF shielding integrity and a complete seal to the cable jacket to lock out moisture. Additionally, improved plating material affords better corrosion resistance.

UltraEase® 59, 59Q, 6 & 6Q

The UltraEase® is a high performance, weather resistant "F" connector (Patent #6790081) that combines the ease of installation with superior performance.

These compression connectors feature a postforward design which allows easy verification that the cable dielectric is flush with the post face prior to compression. After compression, the connector post has a conventional recessed position—another feature that helps the technician install the connector correctly every time.

The UltraEase 59 & 6 connector design incorporates a patented free spinning nut (Patent #5975591), making installation faster and more reliable. Patented grooved nut (Patent #6887102) design provides improved grip and ease of installation in tight locations. The one-piece design eliminates any loose parts. Connectorization can be performed rapidly and consistently without the risk of misalignment of multiple parts.

UltraEase® M & MQ

The Corning Gilbert UltraEase® family includes RCA, BNC and pin-type “F”male connectors. The RCA and BNC connectors are available for 59, 6, and mini coax series of cables. The pintype “F” male connector is available for mini coax cables.

All of these connectors have an innovative pushout pin (7,153,159) that eliminates blind entry when installing. In addition, the UltraEase compression technology provides 360 degrees of contact to the cable, providing excellent RF shielding integrity.

UltraSeal® 11 & 11Q

Corning Gilbert offers the next generation of high performance sealed compression "F" connectors. The UltraSeal connectors for 11 series cable is a pin style "F" connector with an .032" [.8 mm] integral center pin diameter.

The connector center pin is retracted to protect it from the rigors of shipping and handling prior to installation. Upon insertion of the cable, the connector pin extends to its full protrusion. This feature gives a visible confirmation that the cable is properly inserted into the connector.
